It's easy really, just follow our 5 step guide below to get the perfect tan:
1. Make sure you exfoliate properly. The key to good application is all in the preparation. Then moisturise all dry areas thoroughly (elbows, knees, ankles and feet). Also protect eyebrows and your hairline, by adding a little extra moisturiser in these areas.
2. Pump the mousse or lotion into the palm of your hand. Then sweep from top to toe, making sure you get really good coverage. It's only missed areas that tend to look patchy so make sure you cover all areas well.
3. Once you have applied the lotion or mousse, wait at least a minute before getting dressed, to allow time to dry. Try not to get wet or sweat for at least 4 hours from the time of applying.
4. Finally, shower off the excess to reveal a golden, natural looking tan. 5. To maintain your tan, re-apply one to two times a week.
