Looking fresh-faced, flawless and natural can be harder than it looks sometimes. But for most of us, that's all you want, just to look the best version of yourself. This is the kind of makeup look where people will comment on how healthy you look, rather than ask what make up you're wearing. This is a great look for summer days, everyday work and busy mums.

Follow my step by step guide to recreate the everyday make up look.

Skincare

Good looking skin means healthy skin. Cleansing is so important to make sure you're taking your make up off properly, and the dirt and grime of today's modern climate. Try Chanel's Invigorating Cleansing Milk for Face & Eyes, effectively removing make up and helping your skin to look more radiant.

Next apply a little toner to a cotton pad and gently pat over your cleansed skin. Try Clarins Toner, available for normal to dry and combination to oily skin, it's the perfect way to complete the cleansing routine.

Moisturise with Clarins Multi-Active Day Cream - a great daily moisturiser that also helps prevent those first signs of ageing.

Base

 Step One

 First use a primer to help the make up stay on - try Becca's Mineral SPF Primer. Then apply my favourite Stila Tinted Moisturiser all over the skin, to give a natural glow and provide light coverage.

 Step Two

 Apply concealer around the nose, under the eyes and on top of the lids, using L'Oreal's  Touche Magique Concealer.

Colour

 Cheeks - Apply Bourjois Cream Blush to the apples of your cheeks and blend downwards.

 Lips - Apply lots of Maybelline Shiny Licious Lip Gloss in Sugar Plum, a beautiful natural gloss with a sweet flavour, at an affordable price.

Eyes

Step One

Keep eyes simple. Apply a small amount of soft brown kohl pencil to the top and bottom lashes and smudge with a smudge brush or fingertips.

Step Two

And lastly apply one coat of Clinique's Lash Doubling Mascara. This mascara will give a natural, full lift to the lashes, to really open up the eyes.
