Rainbow Nails

This season the Designer's see nails as a massive part of their collections.
At Prada, clear perspex nails were added to toes, while models at Jeremy Scott wore super-long nail extensions, coated in inky black polish. At Alexander McQueen, blue and green holographic transfers were stuck onto false nails to encapsulate the creatures from the deep feel of the show. Coral brights applied as Polka Dots, Rainbow Effects at the outer tips, it seemed that nails clawed their way to centre stage this season.
Bright coloured nails are a great way to funk up any outfit, and as the gladiator sandal are making a comeback this summer, toenails are also something to be looked at.
The French Manicure is dead and gone. Get creative, Blue Peter Style, the wilder the better and punk it up! Make it different, anything goes when it comes to toes!
How to create Rainbow Nails:
Step 1
Start by massaging the iconic Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Hand Cream to soften hands, minimise age spots and strengthen nails.
Step 2
Apply Sally Hansen Double Duty, it is a strengthening base and top coat in one. Be sure to wait until it is completely dry.
Next, cut small pieces of making tape and apply to each nail, leaving a small gap at the top to apply your first nail polish colour. I've used the colours from the Girls With Attitude Trend Collection range. They are packaged in petite 3ml bottles, which means you can simply pop them into your bag for an instant beauty fix on the go.
Or you could try combining OPI's Hot N Spicy with Red My Fortune Cookie.

Step 3
Wait until the first coat has dried and apply another coat, if needed. Then take off the masking tape slowly. Have a cotton bud with nail polish remover on it ready, just in case you don't have the straight line you desire.
Next move the tape down to create the next band of colour. Carefully apply the next nail polish to create a rainbow effect across the nail.

Step 4
Apply Sally Hansen Double Duty as a top coat and wait until its fully dry and hey presto - Rainbow Nails!
