| What is the best way to cover dark circles under eyes? |
|
I would avoid putting foundation around the lower eye area, it's not made for that purpose and can crease and move. My advice would be to apply your foundation first, leaving the eye area free for your concealer. Use a little concealer, starting in the inner corner's near the bridge of the nose and blend outwards under the eyes. It is always good to use a concealer brush then pat to blend with your finger tip. Lastly, set with a little loose powder to keep in place all day. A top tip is to choose a concealer that closely matches your skin tone. Be careful that its not too light, as it can make it look false, or like you have sunbathed with sunglasses on! I hope this brightens up your day, let me know how you get on. Thanks Sara.

Hi, I've always read that YSL Touche Eclat is really good to hide dark circles, but whenever I've tried this, it doesn't seem to make any difference. But I must be doing something wrong, as so many people rave about it. Can you advise how best to apply it - like the concealer you've mentioned above?

Yes, Touche Eclat is a great product. However its more of a highlighter than a concealer. It will give light, luminous coverage but I'd recommend a fuller creamier concealer if dark circles are your concern. You can then add a little YSL Touche Eclat on top of any undereye concealer, to brighten.
Hope this helps Sara x
